SplitMaster: Removal of adhesive parts - efficient, fast & energy-saving

Bonding components has become enormously important in the automotive, railway, aircraft and plastics industries. It offers significant advantages such as weight savings, distortion-free connections and high durability. Until now, however, separating bonded parts was often problematic.

Previously, dissolving required heating surfaces to 350-400°C, which often damaged the materials and adjacent adhesive layers. This is where SplitMaster, the cryogenic cooling process from mycon, provides a revolutionary solution.

SplitMaster cools surfaces quickly and efficiently down to -75°C. The adhesive surfaces quickly become brittle due to the low temperatures, so they can be separated in a very short time with light mechanical support.

The advantage for body repairs

The mycon SplitMaster process enables the non-destructive separation of glued parts. This makes repairs and recycling of body parts economical, safe and highly efficient.

PowerMaster: paint removal & mechanical stripping

Our paint removal process is based on environmentally friendly and water-soluble granules that are introduced into a jet of compressed air. Shortly before exiting, the granules are wetted with water to increase the kinetic energy.

  • Special granules : Metallic surfaces remain completely intact during the process and are not attacked.
  • Complete vehicle paint stripping: Suitable for paint stripping entire vehicles and wheel sets.
  • Automatable: PowerMaster can be easily integrated into automated systems.
